Charissa Thompson has been dating marketing executive Steven Cundari since 2022, having been set up by a current NFL quarterback, but she has no plans to walk down the aisle

NFL broadcaster Charissa Thompson has revealed why she has no interest in marrying her boyfriend Steven Cundari.
The 42-year-old has been a FOX NFL mainstay since returning to the network from ESPN in 2013. Thompson reached the end of her FOX contract after Super Bowl LIX but continues to engage her followers via the Calm Down podcast, which she co-hosts with colleague Erin Andrews.
In a recent episode, the NFL sideline reporter shared an amusing anecdote about a guesthouse incident that led her to empathize with Cundari. Despite announcing their relationship in July 2022 and frequently flaunting their affection online, Thompson has been clear about her unwillingness to ever walk down the aisle.
“I am never getting married again,” Thompson declared on the Calm Down podcast. “We have already talked about it. We have already gone through all the reasons why.”
Even when Andrews playfully suggested a surprise wedding disguised as a summer party, Thompson shut down the topic. “Listen, I will have a party, though. There’s just not going to be vows,” she said.
“Who cares about the vows anyway? No one wants to listen to that s— and promises and this and that. Do that on your own time. People just want to show up for the party. So, if you want me to have a party, I can do that. I’m just not going to have a wedding.”

Thompson’s aversion to tying the knot might be due to her past two marriages. However, she is thankful to Los Angeles Rams quarterback Matthew Stafford and his wife Kelly for introducing her to marketing executive Cundari.
“Matthew and Kelly were sick of me dating losers and they were like, ‘We have a great guy for you.’ So they were the matchmakers. It was vetted. I know the social security and the bank account now, so all is right,” Thompson quipped. While Cundari usually avoids the limelight, he was present at Super Bowl LIX and appears to have formed a bond with Andrews’ husband, former NHL player Jarret Stoll.
“There are no better plus-ones to bring to a Super Bowl than Steven Cundari and Jarret Stoll,” Andrews explained. “You can leave them on Bourbon Street, French Quarter, Memphis, Tennessee. They’ll find their way back, and they run along.”
Meanwhile, rumors are swirling that Stafford may be traded from the Rams following reports that the 37-year-old wants to increase his $40million annual salary to $50m. The quarterback, who led Los Angeles to a Super Bowl victory on home ground in 2022, is reportedly drawing attention from the New York Giants, Cleveland Browns, Pittsburgh Steelers, and Las Vegas Raiders.
